How long does aligner treatment take?
Most mild to moderate cases finish in six to eighteen months. We provide your estimated timeline after planning and keep you updated during reviews.
Do I really need to wear them all day?
Yes. Aligners must be worn 20 to 22 hours daily. Only remove them for meals, coffee or oral hygiene to avoid delays.
Will they affect my speech?
You may lisp very slightly for a day or two. The tongue adapts quickly and speech returns to normal once you get used to the trays.
How do I clean the aligners?
Rinse them in lukewarm water and brush gently with a soft toothbrush. Avoid hot water which can warp the plastic.
Do I need retainers afterwards?
Absolutely. A retainer holds the teeth in their new position and protects your investment.
