How the journey unfolds

  1. 1

    Diagnosis

We use X-rays and transillumination to map decay before we start.

  2. 2

    Gentle Preparation

Only the damaged portion is removed so healthy enamel remains untouched.

  3. 3

    Restoration Placement

We layer the chosen material, cure it with light or cement lab work precisely.

  4. 4

    Finishing & Polishing

Bite is checked, high spots reduced and surfaces polished to a natural shine.

Frequently asked questions

Is getting a filling painful?

No. Local anesthesia numbs the tooth so you feel only mild vibration. Any post treatment sensitivity fades within a day or two.

Which filling material should I choose?

We recommend composites for front teeth, high strength ceramics or amalgam replacements for large back teeth and glass ionomer for root surfaces. The decision depends on location, load and your goals.

How long does a filling take?

Most fillings are completed in 30 to 60 minutes. Larger indirect work involves two visits a week apart.

Can I eat right after?

You can eat once the numbness wears off. Avoid chewing your cheek or lip while still numb and stick to softer food if we placed a large restoration.

Will the restoration be visible?

Tooth coloured composites and ceramics are shade matched to your enamel, so nobody can tell you are sporting a filling.
